Administrative organization


The INRA & Agrocampus Research Unit "Systèmes d'Elevage, Nutrition Animale et Humaine” (SENAH; Livestock Production Systems, Animal and Human Nutrition) is part of the INRA Research Center in Rennes and, from a scientific point of view, under the auspices of two INRA departments: : Animal Physiology and Livestock Production Systems (PHASE) and Human Nutrition (ALIMH). The INRA & Agrocampus association includes the research activities of professors of the Animal Science department of Agrocampus , the training and PhD programs of Agrocampus students at INRA and lectures given by INRA researchers at Agrocampus.

The Director of the Unit is Jean Noblet and Jean yves Dourmad and Charles Henri Malbert are deputy-Directors. The Unit is divided in five research teams and three support teams.

Team 3 ( head : J. van Milgen ): Nutrition and metabolism
Team 4 ( head : I. Luron): Perinatal nutrition and intestinal adaptability
Team 5 (head : C.-H. Malbert): Splanchnic signals and food intake control
