Rencontre | Aquaculture Europe 2009 - “New Research Frontiers” Annual meeting of the European Aquaculture Society Organised by the European Aquaculture Society in cooperation with the Nor-Fishing Foundation As aquaculture continues to develop, research will undergo fundamental change. Current technologies have potentially reached their limits and we now need re-thinking. Nanotechnology, biotechnology, molecular biology, informatics and cybernetics all find their role in contributing to the research agenda. Aquaculture Europe 2009 will address this challenge and will provide an international forum to discuss latest research initiatives and new research frontiers. Aquaculture Europe 2009 will take place just before the world’s leading aquaculture exhibition, Aqua Nor, where many new research approaches are already starting to find industrial applications. |

Aquaculture Europe 2011

Congrès | Aquaculture Europe 2011 will be held in October 18 - 21, 2011 - Rhodes, Greece. Aquaculture Europe 2011 will be the most innovative event of European aquaculture to date, bringing together research institutions, academia and the industry. Sessions will address vital questions affecting the development of Mediterranean aquaculture over the next decade, with reviews of the importance of aquaculture in EU food production; the sustainability of aquaculture feeds and the implementation of selective breeding strategies in aquaculture. A review of current EU-funded research programmes will highlight their relevance to the current and future production practices. Aquaculture Europe 2011 will establish benchmarks for future research that will lead to a clear foresight of the development dynamics of Mediterranean aquaculture 2020. The conference will include an international trade show, a Farmers Day and a student workshop. It will also provide a platform to showcase European initiatives in aquaculture. 3èmes Journées Recherche Filière Piscicole

Rencontre | Pour l’organisation de cet événement, les organismes de recherche INRA, IFREMER, CIRAD et IRD s’allient de nouveau au CIPA (Comité Interprofessionnel des Produits de l’Aquaculture), à l’ITAVI (Institut Technique de l’Aviculture), au SYSAAF (Syndicat des Sélectionneurs Avicoles et Aquacoles Français), au Ministère de l’Agriculture (MAAPAR) et à l’Enseignement aquacole, avec le partenariat exceptionnel pour cette édition de l’Académie d’Agriculture de France (AAF) dans le cadre de la journée du 3 juillet. L’objectif de ces nouvelles journées Recherche Filière Piscicole (JRFP) est de poursuivre l’amélioration des échanges d’informations entre tous les acteurs de la filière. La première journée sera consacrée à une réflexion globale, sous l’égide de l’AAF, autour de la question « Quelles Piscicultures Demain ? ». La seconde journée permettra de mieux faire connaître les programmes de recherche, d’en diffuser les résultats et d’en montrer les potentialités d’application. Plusieurs sessions permettront d’aborder les principaux thèmes d’intérêt pour la filière piscicole : Reproduction, Nutrition, Gestion sanitaire et Pathologie, Systèmes d’élevage et environnement, Durabilité, bien-être des poissons, Elevage, qualité et transformation, Economie et développement… |
