Ccomplete mode

In order to work in the full (complete) mode of InraPorc, use the following procedure (click here if you participated at an InraPorc training session) :

  1. Complete the online order form
  2. Complete, sign and return the license agreement
  3. Download and install InraPorc
  4. Request a (temporary) license activation key
  5. Payment of the invoice
  6. Update the InraPorc.lic license file

    2. You need to purchase InraPorc if you wish to work in full mode. A license, which is valid for a single computer, costs 598 € (500 € + VAT). To order InraPorc, complete the online order form. Companies and educational institutions may include their purchase order as an attachment. On the order form, you must include the number of licenses you wish to purchase, as well as the first name and family name of each license user.

    After submitting your purchase order, we will confirm its receipt by e-mail. With the confirmation, we will also issue license numbers for each requested license. You will need this license number when you request a license activation key. If you are responsible for the purchase of multiple licenses of InraPorc, please communicate the license numbers to the respective users so that they can request a license activation key. Your purchase order will be transferred to Inra Transfert, who will send you an invoice as well as the license agreement(s).

  2. Complete, sign and return two license agreements

    3. We need to have a signed license agreement for each license ordered. After having ordered InraPorc, you will receive a license agreement (as a PDF-file) by e-mail. Please print two copies of this agreement, read and sign both copies of the agreement(s) and send the two signed agreements to :

    One copy of the license agreement, signed by Inra Transfert, will be sent back to you by mail together with an invoice.

  3. Download and install InraPorc

    4. Awaiting your payment of the invoice, you may already use InraPorc. To do so, download the software and install the program and data files (including the INRA-AFZ feed database) on the computer on which you intend to use InraPorc. Remember, a single license can only be used on a single computer.

    After completing the installation, launch the program and fill out the requested information in the license management window. Use the license number that was issued with the confirmation of the purchase order (i.e., one license number per user). When you click on the 'OK'-button, the information will be saved in the InraPorc.lic license file.

  4. Request a (temporary) license activation key

    5. Request a license activation key by uploading the InraPorc.lic license file to the InraPorc web site. InraPorc.lic is located in the InraPorc program directory (C:\Program Files\InraPorc\) or, for Microsoft Vista, in C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\InraPorc.     We will then include a temporary license activation key in the license file, which will be sent back to you by e-mail. Save the e-mail attachment (InraPorc.lic) by overwriting the existing file. The file InraPorc.lic is either located in C:\Program Files\InraPorc\ or, for Microsoft Vista, in C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\InraPorc). The temporary license activation key is valid for two months starting from the date you ordered InraPorc.

  5. Payment of the invoice

    6. Inra Transfert will send you an invoice, which should be paid within one month by check or money transfer. Details on accepted payment methods are indicated on the invoice. Inra Transfert will notify us when your payment and license agreement are received.

  6. Update the InraPorc.lic license file

    7. After payment of the invoice, we will generate a new license activation key, which will be valid until December 31st of the current year. If you requested a temporary license activation key, you will automatically receive an updated license file by e-mail. Licensees who have not requested a temporary license activation key will receive one upon registration. Each year in December, you will receive an updated license file, which will be valid until December 31st of the next year. Overwrite your existing InraPorc.lic license file (located either in C:\Program Files\InraPorc\ or C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\InraPorc) by the one we send you by e-mail.
