Software installation
The installation of the software is relatively easy. It will need about 12 Mb on your disk. You will receive Four installation files.
To Install the software double click on the first icon (top row left). To install the drivers (required only for acquisition) double click on the bottom icon.
After this you must have a folder like this
MAD software stricto sensu can be located anywhere on the computer hard-drive.
To lauch the MAD double click on it. During the first start on the software the serial number (included in the Email) will be requested. Type it exactly as it is. The serial number is case sensitive. After this the serial number will never be asked again. This serial number is unique and correspond to your software.
That's all for the software part.
Hardware installation
MAd is designed to work with a NB-MIO16 card (National Instruments). You can locate the card in any free nubus slot since the Mad is design to find the card by itself. So do not bother about this. The setting of the card are gain 1, non differential input single ended ground referenced. Except the non differential input single ended ground referenced all the others settings are factory settings.
Depending of the size of the screen you get, you have to select the appropriate size in the preferences of MAD . Small for 13-14 inch and large for 16 inch and above.
